I used to be a part of Love On A Leash. A nonprofit where I would visit local convalescent homes with my basset hound. I did this for years with my son. I also started a newsletter at LA County Homeless Shelter, which I called "Let Your Word Be Heard" providing all the residents an opportunity to voice their concerns and encouraging a creative outlet platform with art/poetry. I then began to do one-on-one live-in companionship for a widowed senior who was clinically depressed and overwhelmed with needing to downsize, and I helped assist with keeping him excited about life, working through small goals/baby steps, and enjoying the little things along the way. It was 5 years that I was able to walk him through with a positive, nurturing perspective. Availability: 7 days a week. Anytime.

My other name is "Dylan and Jack's Mom" I have two boys who are young adults now. I have been married for 26 years to my sweetheart, and we have a German Shepherd who is now our third son. I am the most proud of how kind my son is, regardless of all else. I sing in the church choir on Sundays and I am an avid dancer. I stay active by doing Zumba, walking the dog, dancing, and participating in drum circles. Being a caregiver has taught me patience and kindness. As a teenager, I remember my father teaching me the importance that cognitive issues are not their fault and to treat others with dignity. As difficult as it can be, it is rewarding to help those in need. Availability: Contact between 3 - 5 PM PST. Weekdays are best.

I have been in healthcare and a professional caregiver for 26+ years. I also have a personal caregiving journey. Caregiving is not easy. Having support is essential. I have been working in healthcare all of my life. I see caregivers from all walks of life. Caregiving is hard. I want people to know that they are not alone and that they also matter. Availability: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays between 8 PM - 12 AM
